PitchAI ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our iOS application.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: Email address when you register with email/password, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google.
• App data: Club names, player names, player statistics, jersey numbers, and photos you add within the app.
• Usage preferences: App settings such as pitch style, jersey style, formation preferences, and display options.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

• Provide and maintain the PitchAI service
• Sync your data across your devices via Firebase
• Authenticate your identity securely
• Improve app performance and user experience

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

PitchAI uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Firebase (Google LLC) — Authentication, Cloud Firestore database, and Cloud Functions. Firebase Privacy Policy

4. Data Storage

Your app data is stored in two locations:

• On your device: Using SwiftData local database. Player and club photos are stored locally on your device.
• Firebase Cloud Firestore: Club and player data (excluding photos) is synced to Firebase servers to enable multi-device access.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data only for as long as your account remains active. Once you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted from our servers immediately. Any local data stored on your device is also removed immediately.

6. Your Rights & Account Deletion

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data at any time within the app
• Delete your account and all associated data via Profile → Delete Account
• Export your data (contact us for assistance)
• Request correction of inaccurate data

To delete your account: Profile tab → Delete Account. This action is irreversible.

7. Children's Privacy

PitchAI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including Firebase Authentication, secure HTTPS connections, and Firebase Security Rules to protect your data from unauthorized access.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
